Self-Instructional Guides
This series of workbooks covers the analytical, product and market
knowledge required to advise financial institution clients and generate revenues in today's market.
The self-instructional approach enables users to work through all or selected
sections of the guides, depending on their existing knowledge. Using Self-Instructional
Guides, institutions can raise the level and improve the consistency of
foundation knowledge across the entire organization – without pulling
employees away from their jobs.

Each Guide includes:
- descriptions about relevant products and/or techniques
- a review of uses, benefits and common applications
- explanations about market conventions and mechanics
- exercises, which are short quizzes designed to test and reinforce short sections of material
- proficiency checks to assess knowledge of the major concepts presented in the Self-Instructional Guide
- a Mastery Test, packaged separately or offered online, which is a 25-question multiple choice exam taken after the completion of the Self-Instructional Guide, which validates understanding of the Self-Instructional Guide.
