Learning Plans

A Learning Plan is a personalized, customized guide that supports participants’ successful completion of Globecon professional development activities. Each Learning Plan links subject areas with workshops and self-study materials and can span across one or more of the four levels of Globecon’s proficiency hierarchy. In tracking completion of workshops and assessment scores, Learning Plans document participants’ increasing financial knowledge. (click on image to see details).

There are four steps in creating and using a Learning Plan:

Step 1: Assessment: A pre-assessment is taken by the participant to gather information about each professional and their baseline finance capabilities.

Step 2: Identify Gaps: As a result of a pre-assessment, Globecon's identifies areas requiring professional development to help participants focus their learning efforts.

Step 3: Learning Plan: A plan of workshops and self-study is created based on each participant’s specific needs relevant to their job.

Step 4: Post Assessment: Participants take post-study assessments to measure their progress.
